Jamie M is on it :bye: My mate at the allotment gave me some for Sunday dinner. Blinking lovely and no hassle. Defo trying a few rows next year. Anyhow, like I said before, rely on your mates. They'll have loads. ;)

What do you know.?? Went down without any thoughts about getting veg. Beans. Beans . How nice to have any and for dinner too. My friend Jocky has posted 15 inch which I thought was a figment of his imagination but no, the pics prove it. Still like the idea of French beans though.

Glad you got a good crop pal. I went to mine on Tuesday and had a hatful. (runner beans I'm on about)went again today and filled a basket. It must be true what the old guys say. Pick loads early and you will reap the rewards later. Can't deny it is a hell of a crop.

You are not alone. A lot of the guys here are struggling but I;m able to help them out. :victory::victory: Thing is, we all try something different and inevitably we drop a bollock. However?? :bye: From a week past Thursday I've had 22 ibs of beans and there's no stopping the boogers, Nothing to do with the fact that I,ve about 200 plants mind you.. Little tip fellas. When you put the trench together, Copius amounts of brewers hops . Dig deep cause them beans want to go down a bit. Bonus. Where you get the hops from also supplies the beer and you can have a great afternoon at the allotment. Happy days all you gardeners. I hope your tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines ah fck it alll them things that I couldn't grow did well :toast:

FAO Joe777. These things are cropping like crazy. It's a variety called Polestar.Agreeably they were late but what a crop.I've been pulling 10lbs plus every 5 days. I know that sounds crazy but truly the things have gone mad. All the guys are grateful and in the local as well. :boogy: I don't seethis ending for at least a couple of weeks.Incidentally,I don't like freezing the things so have the look of a martian at the moment?? :bad:
