X depends how deep they have to go. This one was about £6k. Don't know if that's cheap or expensive though.

Stick to the well for the time being.....?

 

I'm quite high up where I am, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I'm guessing further to drill so higher the price.

Not necessarily, it depends on how deep the water table is and what the rock structure is. When I googled it earlier all the firms that done it would not give a quote as there are so many variables to take into account.

 

Edited to add: If your using a well then the water table cannot be that deep.

I've no clue where the water supply comes from, neither does my neighbour. You wouldn't want to drink it anyway...?
