Guest vin
Does anyone have any contacts out there ? I have been many times and seen dogs on backs off pickups but always been a bit afraid to speak to some hard looking Mallorcan type character whilst looking like a Twonker in my flipflops and socks.whilst standing there in my Mankini covered in baby oil.. way too 1980s Deliverance for me...lol.. I'm told there is a large rabbit population ? I've never seen any. I might be paying a little visit later in the year and would love a change of scenery and look into the real rural life out there. I do have mates out there, but none that have any interest in sport .

Guest vin
Majorca is a long way from Mushroom and his stomping grounds... I'm told Majorca has a lot of traditional hunting including ferreting. . i've seen the ibiza vids..But none in Majorca...except a few podenco clips.. no ferreting. Anyone got any links to any forums/sites etc etc ? Funny you should say that Tomo I remember one of the young lads working over there years ago who kept dogs back home for hunting boar. But that was on the mainland.. I would be interested to know what the quarries are over on the island of Majorca. and when the hunting seasons are etc etc...whats the laws about mooching about with a dog and a ferret ? Fat-Ferret 857
I was about an hour from alicante a few years ago bored out of my brains and one morning met a few lads in a pick up unloading hound types and other whippet looking dogs, I spoke to them as best I could I they let me tag along! I didn't come home till dusk, my Mrs thought I got abducted!!

mushroom 13,093
Alectoris is in Zaragoza Aragon basically the next region to me and a million miles from the balerics. Depending what you want it is really difficult to get in with the right people esp in cataluña ask as katchum said but be prepared for a language barrier The Spanish are generally a pretty closed miserable bunch esp with galgos and running dogs but once in, in for life
