bird 9,872
do they need water,? ive got just norm type bird feed, that hangs from me fence, with holes both sides , which they use (seeds) and they love them no prob. But was thinking ,well wife said lol, I wonder with is warm weather if they need water as well.? well anyway I put out good size bowl full of cold water for them on the floor , as most birds are going on the deck picking up seeds that the others have knocked out . But I don't think there bothering with it, I know bids will bath in water just to clean there feathers ive seen them do it before , but not necessarily to drink. well its there if they want it .lol

fireman 10,869
Use a paint tray and then your'll see them using it as a paint tray can give any sized bird the chance to bathe but just don't fill it right up,just to the start of the slope. It's what myself and many other folk use in our aviaries as bird baths and there cheap, easy to clean and you usualy get a couple of free paint brishes or a roller ...
