David Aiken 253
So, the 25th anniversary is looming and `er in doors` has agreed to buy me a nice new HW45 (The silver Pigeon, Silver, get it, 25th Silver, will have to wait) So I have two questions. Question One: .177 or .22 (I think .177 but open to suggestions!) This HW45 will be used mainly for target but occasionally for Rabbit dispatch @ under 20 feet. Question Two: We (She) would like the HW45 engraved (who? and Laser or engraver?) I have seen a company @ Bluewater Shopping Centre who laser engrave Wedding ring, not sure if they would/could do a HW45? What do you all think? Quote Link to post
random 659
Not sure on calibre,I'm a .22 man but that's all I can say on it! And as for engraving I would think a jeweller would be a good starting point, local gunsmiths must also be worth an ask... Well done on 25 years both!! Quote Link to post
Rez 4,957
22. 177 will be to harsh. Congrats too. As an edit, I dont know if any member remember the old Airgunner article with some goaty bloke shooting rabbits with a BSA 240 Magnum 22 with a shoulder piece. God. Nostalgia. Quote Link to post
VWman 232
I think some of the SFS specials are engraved you could ask the question, it's only a phone call. Quote Link to post
David Aiken 253
As I would like to do some target practice, do ranges take .22 Air pistols? I have a friend who shoots at Bisley and its only .177 for rifles, not sure if this applies to pistols, or if you can shoot them there? Quote Link to post
