dytkos 17,782
Buried my old Russell today, 3 weeks shy of 16, kidneys started failing a few months back and he started fitting early doors today. Took him vets who confirmed he was on the way out so he's now under a cherry tree in the garden. Rest in peace old lad. Cheers, D. 16 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
RIP Tod, funnily enough I don't find it distressing taking an old dog for his last visit. Sad yes, but I feel we owe it to them when they are in pain or just cannot cope any more. The last one was 141/2 and had had a good life. I still talk to him now every time I am at the bottom of the garden. TC 7 Quote Link to post
