Guest joe ox
I know this is a long shot at this time of year. Due to injurys my lamping partner is after a working lurcher. The dog should be able to retrieve all quarry, it will be going to a good working home + it will have a home for life if it is a good worker. Please pm any details. Meerihunter 7
This is why I keep Salukis they don't get as many injuries, its sickening at this time of year. Quote Link to post
Guest joe ox
Its especially sickening this time of year when the decent lamping weather we have been waiting for for weeks is starting to arrive! Quote Link to post
snoopdog 1,256
This is why I keep Salukis they don't get as many injuries, its sickening at this time of year.salukis get injuries just as much as any other breed if they are worked hard its all part off the game ...a lamp dog is pron to more injuries for obvious reasons its working in artificial light and is more likey to hit ..or run into somthing ........not saying you dont work your dogs hard but all running dogs will get injuried at one time or another no matter what breed ........but like i say the lamp dog is more likely to pick up more ..imho Quote Link to post

Meerihunter 7
I have a cold laser unit, portamag and pure Saluki's all in an attempt to avoid layoff due to injuries. Heavy rain here the now and we have been badly needing it. The sowings have been like fields of rumble, broken toes just waiting to happen! We were out 2 night back with my Saluki pup and my O/H's beddyX and he reinjured a previously damaged toe, he is lying in the portamag as we speak. Quote Link to post
