I think you need to run young dogs on the hard summer ground, it learns them to slow down when reaching there quary.

Always found running older dogs on it makes them realise how much better it is when it's soft n it makes them run better, it's all about getting inside there heads!!!

do you think the young lads are bothered about you mate there stone radge were am from and if you say out to any of them they will all stamp on your head in ,so don't think coz there young there going to be a push over ,most will go back to the farm and burn it to the ground atb bobza
