paulsmithy83 567
Best advice has been given just feed 4 times a day. You could feed a pup half a sack of food in morning but with pups some pups they just shite it all out and dont digest most of it. So lose weight. Thats where barf diet helps solve this and regualr meal times each meal is smaller but more often. So body get chance to digest it all. Then has next meal. Quote Link to post

Its hard if the dog burns it quicker than your feeding it wat can you do. My dogs get the best of grub mince lambs hearts bones from local halal butchers but this pup will not put timber on. Gets walked twice a day morning an night dont want to walk him too much an strip him more than he is. Quote Link to post

trenchfoot 4,243
sounds like all the raw stuff is there. it may be worth swapping the gain puppy for a high fat, high protein complete for at least 50% of its diet. And at least 3 times a day Quote Link to post

rickymc1 42
I had a lurcher one time an I couldn't put weight on him was feeding him redmills racer an meat etc an couldn't put weight on.. I spoke to a dog nutritionist at redmills an told me if you gave him anymore than a handful of meat bout a 1/4lb you might aswel thhrow the nuts in the bin as the meat takes the goodness out of the nuts.. So I gave it a try an within 2 weeks my dog started to put on weight.. I feed my 18week old lurcher pup on redmills excel an nothing else an he's thriving.. Quote Link to post
