day worker 296
I can just imagine what type of prick the bloke is who confronted the copper for being in a shop f**k off. Would you be saying that if he went in Greggs and got a pasty? The report didnt mention anything about broken boot laces on duty. So as far as I`m concerned, he was shopping on the clock. Could he not have returned to stores and got new laces if that was the case?He got caught out, couldnt take it on the chin, then seen his arse. c**t should be sacked. I wouldn't have a problem with a copper stopping at greggs! They're entitled to eat!
jonnie bravo 572
This is one of those things that makes you lose faith in humanity. How are the police meant to get anything sorted with this kind of crap happening? What a waste of time, money, dignity and the rest.

That's tax payers money there doling out the guy that made the complaint sounds like a right Saddo he may have been a right saddo, but the plod abused his position to put him in court, both of them are twits, but the plod abused his position and should be sacked
day worker 296
I think the tw@t deserved to go to court for wasting police time!
neil82 1,080
I think the tw@t deserved to go to court for wasting police time! but who caused the most wasted time, with a bit of diplomacy this could have been stopped at the station when the original complaint was made about the plod, but he decided to abuse his uniform and authority to make life difficult for the complainant and used the fact that magistrates are so bloody gullible they think plod never lies and found the bloke guilty, a decision that was thrown out on appeal (higher courts are a bit harder to fool), no matter how you look at it the bloke is totally unsuited to the job and should be out on his arse
jacknife 2,005
Those that would like to see someone loose their job over something as petty as this.......well I hope the same happens to them The facts are not known as to what was said in the car park so no one knows if the copper abused his position One thing that is know is the type of bloke the complainant is
The one 8,483
If it was a youngster trying to be the big man I could see why he was being a prick ,but it states the complaint was made by a middle aged man why because he was a barstool ,it must be a complete Saddo who has nothing better to do in there day than complain about somebody buying replacement laces . The policemans on long term sick leave , my money's on him getting a big payout as he wont be going back to work and that's more tax payers money wasted

Brewman 1,192
Here's my take on it, The copper's lace breaks so he goes into a shop and uses his own money to buy stuff that is probably issued by the police. He didn't waste time or taxpayers money going back to a station being a skiver and waiting to get laces delivered and coming out with some health and safety or human rights crap. That to me is common sense all round. The complainer against the copper is a pedantic irritating little shit who I would think would be the type who you would never tire of slapping in a pub. Nothing horribly wrong so far, Copper has twat complain to him, this is where it goes pear shaped. Copper should have ignored him and walked away or just said yeah yeah yeah but instead both turned it into a disgusting fiasco. I've got no issue with the police in a shop getting lunch, at least it means they're out hopefully being useful.
MoChara 1,632
Thing is, the tout wouldn't have been so quick to report if - say his woman's walking along the street and someone grabs the hold of her bag, runs off. Policeman pursues only to trip over as he ain't got a lace and the man gets away.? Tout may had a change of heart about the lace then. I bet that pr*ck would have reported him then for having no lace! Can't win with some folk.
Blackbriar 8,569
I often see coppers buying lunch in shops or chatting to people in passing. I'd rather see them doing that, than driving past in a car......
