red meat

i have just been told that the feeding of red meat to ferrets is bad for them by a keen ferret lad i no. as i can get loads from a friend that works in a butcher very cheap and offten use this to feed my dogs and feed some to my ferrets when they are not eatting rabbits can anyone tell me if red meat is bad for ferrets

i feed red meat all the time. theres nothing wrong with it

Just don't overdo the fat from lamb etc.. :sick: Not sure if it's a problem but it aint the same as pheasant/rabbit fat..
