There are a lot of fish in this stretch of water mate, chub, roach and dace some big bream and loads mullet which are fun when you hit em on match gear....

No finer way to fish than running a stick down a river a rods length out from the bank..... That's what rivers are made for!

Halibut pellets on a #10 hook for a barble that's been caught 10 times ain't for me!

Agreed Matt....

Putting a stick or wag through a river is brill... I get bored quickly on the tip.... I'm just a fidgety type and need to keep busy lol

I didn't want the lad to learn on ponds, I've taken him a few times and he's enjoyed it TBF but catching pastie after pastie can be a sboring as catching f**k all at times..
