Never liked the heat, always used to work on buiding sites, walked off site on a few occasions because it was to hot. How people can bare laying in the direct sun Ill never know, give me a shady spot

Lol walsh you must be old :). My mum discribed the weather as muggy, thought i was hearing things. If someone does something thats a liberty id use the word muggy. Pulled my mum on it when she used it for the weather n got told its because im young and old people would use the word for the weather.

 

I aint complaining about the heat but its not the same as being on holiday is it. Dont know if thats because when away you know your away to relax n be away from everything. Got a mate near me with a swimming pool in the garden so could go there n be in the drink like was abroad but still just aint the same.

 

will be hot/warm from now till september right? I just hope we dont have a week or 2 and everyone says what a good summer it was lol.

Yeah thats the word id use never heard muggy used for the weather till then.

 

Apologies for using words in the English dictionary instead of bad boy lingo. :laugh:

We will have to step up your Welsh training Walshie. It is never muggy in Wales it's always close.

 

Heat wave? :laugh: I thought heat waves were sustained periods of abnormally high temperatures, not one day when it was a bit muggy.

 

Heat wave? It stayed long enough to wave and that was about it.
