Small Rifle V Small Pistol Primers For A .22 Hornet

Is there any advantage in using small Pistol primers for a .22 Hornet? (using little gun and 35g V-max) or should I stick to small Rifle?

If memory serves, I think sp primers burn a little hotter than sr, you could try them, but if you do, start from minimum charge and work up, as they could easily put you over pressure, not as likely with lil-gun as maybe h110, but caution is advised all the same.

It is generally thought that small pistol primers perform better in the .22 Hornet, I can't remember the exact details of performance but quite a number of American sites recommend them. I used them in my Hornet with no problems at all.
