missed the Who :cray: ... seriously thought the whole thing was lame..... lional richie was just odd ... bit of a prima donna .... had a little hissy fit

i watched very little ... only bit i saw that the crowd got behind the act was some trance act .... paul weller struggled .. george ezra ... turned him off ....

the whole thing reminded me of live aid before freddy livened the audience up ... last years line up was way better ... metallica stole the whole show

apart from the Who and c/brothers sounds like the rest was crap then lol, surprised on paul weller though, didn't watch him. I get the feeling most singers who been at it 30years+ carnt get the notes no more, prob there comes a time to hang up the mic really. And yet saying that lol, the Who lead man R/D still held good voice, infact I thought he got better+ better in there show  , just goes to show what class singer and band they , ringos lad was brill on the sticks, townshend great + rest of the band . I always liked beatles ,stones, the Who deff up there with them, used like the kinks as well another good band , wonder if they could still do it .?

Thing is and this is coming from a young person, dont you find alot of todays music shit? Some artists who are popular and probably earning good money have hardly any talent what so ever. Often i hear songs and think wtf this wikl never be played in years to come and the artist will cringe at such simple boring predictable lyrics. Im sure good music is still being made but whats mainstream is garbage and the fact they earn from it makes me wonder about society lol.

I think for the most part you're right, but I guess the mainstream has always been like that to a degree..........as you get older your expectations become lower as well which makes it even worse! Haha.....

There's still some interesting stuff out there, it may not make the 'big bucks' or the headlines.......but enough to still keep me passionate about new music ;-)

Check out bbc radio six music...............that's where I get most of my tips from these days....
