jok 3,266
Gnasher. When in Riyadh had the misfortune to accompany a delegation of locals at a high class resteraunt. Round Table. Hole in middle. Live monkeys head Large blade. Dipping bread into live brains. Good?? I don't think so . The possibly most horrifying thing apart fro a beheading in chop square in Jeddah. Are they all really human beings?? Oh I forgot. Stoning a young woman to death whilst buried up to her neck for accused adultery.
mackem 26,829
Fair play Meat is meat but how many of you could eat a dog , humanly killed of course ? I have eaten dog several times in the past, the first time in Baguio in the philippines,it was the only meat around at the time as the place was in ruins from an earthquake. If it was all that was offered again i would eat it,but i would'nt deliberately go to waitrose for some mongrel steaks.

Francie 6,368
There are some curious views on morality here. We seem to be under the impression there is such a thing as absolute right and wrong. I think it's worth taking a step back. The bottom line with morality is, there's my opinion and there's everyone else's individual opinion. Right and wrong are completely arbitrary and subjective, not fact or absolute. 'Unnecessary cruelty' should be completely avoided, it's 'common sense'....... right? So nobody here has had a hunt for no other reason than they wanted to? Nobody been out for a dig or fishing or a run for no other reason than they wanted to? I suppose a fox that has being worked by a terrier doesn't feel much agro, it's having the time of it's life I bet. Same goes for the catch and release fish eh? Perspective... We as individuals justify our own cruelty as necessary by whatever means our conscience allows. We're not unique in that or righteous in our moral stance. Sorry born your talking out your arse again, lol just cause there's a lot of different views an opinions, doesn't mean there's no absolute, your talking circular reasoning, an its tripe, we all know its cruel to torture the animal, how, our conscience, were does our conscience come from, well you know my answer, them chinks probably think the same as you, no absolute, but a bit harsher, so do as they please, imbnot saying there all like that, but if there no absolute, could you tell me iyo why is it cruel, whatthere doing, or if you don't think it's cruel, why? You can't answer that question, with your logic, cause no ones right or wrong, with your logic,

So you dont go to that restaurant again simple Its not my cuppa tea but who am i to tell other cultures whats right and wrong.............i dont book dogs as important as human beings they are property.......its just illogical to compare it to stoning a human being to death human beings are not property. jok 3,266
Totally agree. Illogical. Just trying to get the mind set of these people accross. It is and always will be a completely different culture. It is very hard for a Wetern society to get to grips with the way they do things. I could mention more
