shepp 2,285
Coffee granules I don't really class as coffee. More coffee flavoured drink.
MoChara 1,632
Any of yous ever tried them pod things? I was going to buy the machine but thought it too much hassle having to get them pods for it etc. Would have to be real good stuff before I'd go as far as to buy the whole thing
Tiercel 6,986
The only instant worth drinking is Kenco milicano. Tastes near enough to real coffee. Their smooth is not bad either for granules. TC

walshie 2,804
I drink a lot of Kenco instant coffee during the day but 'er indoors bought a proper bean coffee machine a while back and we drink those in the evening (because I don't know how to use it.) I've never liked perked coffee unless it's been made that minute. After a few minutes it stews and tastes like it too.
TOMO 26,174
Yeh I like a few cups a day,,,keep quitting for a month or two,,then start again,,,I would love to give up drinking it,,, I don't really like the really bitter stuff,,,but some proper coffes are better than others,,,,
MoChara 1,632
Me an himself are quite bad drinkers of coffee, you know the big tins you can get at the wholesalers, for cafés etc Well we finished one of those in a 3-4 days. We only buy the large size ones now, stops us drinking it constantly.

day worker 296
To be honest my bucket sorry mug never goes cold.probably explains why I rarely go to bed! I have a machine for the pods but it rarely gets used because it's so expensive so stick to gold blend!
shepp 2,285
If you drink coffee all day Mo, and you want something a bit better. You could get a French press and ground coffee. I have a proper but not too expensive espresso machine and grinder. Trouble is if the coffee is not fresh ground from the bean and made in a machine I don't like it much. If you step up a level then there is no going back.
