There's only one thing that I'd use, and that's Camrosa oil. Shampoo the dog and then apply the oil. Perfect stuff. I would also try and feed just raw.

Yes mate, it's good gear. For some itches, where the dog is licking and biting itself and leaving a wet sore behind it is nothing to do with mites IMO. Once the anal glands have been cleared then a good course of Camrosa fettles it. I rate it above Maleseb.

Put up a photo of the dog with the "itch". Seeing what the itch looks like would tell a lot. Everyone has there own remedy, but only certain things will work of specific problems. Might save you wasting your time, money and further discomfort to the dog.

 

Good to see so many lads offering advice and genuinely intersted in the care (welfare) of the dogs we own. I hope the online ANTI's read this too.....................

I know this might sound daft . Your not washing bedding to much are you . My mates misses has got ocd and was washing bedding twice a week dogs didn't get on with that at all . As soon as he made her stop they went back to normal . Just a thought mate

If they are kennelled then cut out the bedding ,bare boards and see if theres any change .Wont harm for a while but prolonged on hard surface will give them sores .Thinking it maybe the type of bedding ,worth a try .

No...a prescription is what a doctor writes you and you take to the chemist! how does an online provider for canine medication going to verify over the net that a vet actually wrote the prescription? and I have been to the vets hundreds of times over the years and I have never once been written a prescription from the vet! good post Corkman as said we would actually need to see the itch in question to try and diagnose correctly!
