just asking as the brother to my bitch is apparantly 4" bigger and their only 22 weeks old my bitch is 22"tts i havnt seen the dog its just what ive been told but it seems alot of diffrence

my dogs not a lurcher. he's a lab x staff. his sister is about 3 inch bigger than him and alot chunkier so might just be which side of the parents they take after

My mates got a lab staff cross its fecking huge. Size of a lab built like a bull and a huge staffie head. The rest just look like big staffs

the litter i bred dam>24 1/2" sire>25" the smalest pup turned out 22" the biggest pup is 27"

maybe is that much bigger then just sounds alot 4" on a 22 week old pup that would make the pup 26"tts at 22 weeks

might be one of them dogs what seem to grow quick then stop early if you know what i mean. my labxstaff is still growing where some others in the litter have stopped. he's 19 and half inch tts dont know when he'll stop he's 15 month old now.

im probally far wrong but i thought dogs grew tall for the first 12 months then thickened out for the next 6

Dogs are usually bigger than bitches anyway, but there is a lot of size variation both in Salukis and Greyhounds, regardless of the size of the parents as they can throw back to grand parents and beyond: all it takes is a doubling up of the 'big dog' genes and you can get a big un!

i had a litter of 9 all bitch`s are bouncing about at around 19"to 21" the dogs are 23" except one dog who is now over 26" lol dont know how throw back to the greyhound i suppose

my young dog is now 15 months old he's a shad under 27"tts and his litter brother and sister are all round the 23"tts the shoulder but mine has thrown more to the greyhound than the others but he still doing the job asked of him.
