Farm Quad Advice Needed

Recommended Posts

im on a budget of about 2grand and I've been browsing thru eBay etc to see what's around... My mate has 350 Honda 4wd and I notice it's only ever on 3wd in sticky situations.... Yamaha grizzly seems to have a diff and great ground clearance so I'm leaning towards it but I see all sorts of odd makes on eBay that are reasonably priced and fairly newish... Any one any experience with those???

I really liked this one but it was gone when I enquired about it

you are right the Honda is without equal IMO but I got a new one last year and it's made in the states and I don't think it's as good as the jap made ones . The gear selectors are all thumb shift inst

Having used and abused numerous quads I would say the best (in no particular order) are Honda, Yamaha and Can Am. Although the new Hondas are not what they were!

Got it on Friday, went out Friday night just using a hand lamp, it makes life so much easier, and it is an excellent bike, so far !

Got a kawasaki kvf 750 here for sale 2005 and only 500 odd hours on it. Road legal but £500 above your budget. The bike will pull anything it has some serious power but with my back I need IRS suspension so have just bought a king quad 500. Very clean and tidy bike

Cheers buddy... I've enquired about those before!! The first two are only 2wd and of little use to me and the Yamaha big bear I haven't been able to get thru to... He's either in newry or craigavon According to his previous ads!!

Has anyone dealt with these guys before? I'm just in the process of buying a grizzly from them... They seem genuine but I just thought I'd ask to be sure, they're based in carlisle and I'm paying him tomorrow evening and hopefully I'll have the machine by the weekend
