bigmac 97kt 13,811
Me ,vis, and Andy went to the farm to night just before dark i took the hw80 and the s410 with the nv fitted to her as i drove in i saw a magie and pigeon in the little garden so i drove round the back and got the out drove back to the little garden and the magie fecked off so i sent a hello to the pigeon in the form of a jsb 15,89 and it was in the bag . Once i parked up Vis and andy were getting there gear together but as i had the out off i went saw two rabbits where we zero got to within range and let a jsb go nice heart and lung shot as i could not see its head for the fence post. the other one never flinched not a movement so i sent another jsb on its way but missed it turned as if it was going to run its head once again stuck through the fence so i reloaded and sent another jsb on its way and it just lay down another heart and lung shot feck me iv only been hear ten mins and iv got a nice bag all ready but thats where it stops there was not much about Andy got one and vis blanked as far as i no as they left before me i had a walk about with the nv but as iv say,d feck all out so i headed home to . So you see VM you can all keep your hw100,s as a proper hw can do the job just as good and in 22, Mark, i may add and a springer to boot :tongue2: atvbmac  7 Quote Link to post

Bunnyblatter 1,012
Nice one Mac. My mate has a HW80 and it shoots spot on. He takes the bullseye out of a dart board at 30 meters every time 1 Quote Link to post

Truth is, they all parked up, Big Mac was getting his knitting together and Vis and Andy bagged up with their HW 100`s in .177 flavour. Great shooting big fella atb 2 Quote Link to post
zandy01 3,575
Think we were lucky to get what we did to be honest... Every time me and Vis went near or under a tree there was either nothing at all there or just spooked straight away and disappeared We walked the fields with me spotting and taking a small rabbit, seen a hare bolting furiously for cover across the only fresh cut field about 300m away and that was the last we seen of anything... Back to disco for drink/butty, then a drive round the fields for a change but once again - nothing... Tried a couple more fields but they were all knee high or longer so no chance of seeing or shooting anything, home by 12.30 and now at work for days graft... This one from last night And this from a few weeks back Only small but keep my mates ferrets full for day or two... Quote Link to post
