The best all round pot filler I have ever seen was bred from a bitsa lurcher to a well bred coursing dog. If I was after a general mooching dog for a bit of everything I wouldent look past this type of cross

Totally agree with the coursing blood over lamp dog x, told a young lad round here it would be a good x for him , and put him onto a pup.. He got one from razor, he's done a great job with the dog, and it's certainly the "dog" for around these parts..

Its a catch 22 this topic. Some dogs just click others dont just because it came out good for one man doesnt mean its guna come up good for the next other. Theres nothing wrong in going back to the old type lurcher long as its got the speed an the staying power.
