socks 32,253
A lad I know has got a nice little dog that he just can't get on with and to be honest I think it's getting to the stage where he is starting to dislike the dog ... He is 19 months old ... Sire greyhound bedlington whippet ... Dam first cross Wheaton grey ... He is 25 inches and a nice racy type ... I've seen him ferreting a few times and he is a decent enough dog ... He is sharp and quick enough ... He does need to calm down a bit but nothing that a bit of one on one through the summer won't cure ... Drop me a PM if your interested but don't bother if your a serial dog buyer and seller ....... The dog is in Wiltshire ..... 10 Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Sounds like it'd just be time spent and hard graft (for the dog) to bring this dog round. At 19 months someone could have some fun with a dog like that this winter. Hope you find him the right home Ken. Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
I don't see anything wrong with the dog but then I haven't got to live with him ... I just think they haven't gelled ....... Quote Link to post
Bobo 135
I've got a Wheaton x bitch here about the same age and I was the same with her, just couldn't take to her. Severely needed to grow up but just wasn't doing it,testing my patience to the max every time I had her out. Doing nowt wrong in anyway work wise, only had a few rats and rabbits and doing fine on both. Anyway I've given her a good bit more one on one time and she's changed for the better,I'm actually starting to like the bitch and she's getting a pleasure to own. I know not everyone works out the same though. Quote Link to post
