David Aiken 253
Front sight removed and cover in place, rear sight removed and red dot fitted. Now for 1/2" groups @ 95 yards. ? 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Bloody mint that. How can you even see an half inch group @ 95yards with a dot? Can't be more than 10 MOA... Quote Link to post
David Aiken 253
Ha Ha! Maybe I meant 9 yards! 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
Is it FAC or sub 12 ? Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
That's actually a good question. The patriot was a proper beast back in the day. I remember some bloke called Paul using one in air gunner. I'm really hoping he means 95 but the red dot is putting me off Quote Link to post
David Aiken 253
Its the FAC 30ft-lbs version. Using H&N Baracuda .25 Cal, 31.02gr its a constant 30.2ft-lbs. I've put a better sized replacement fitting for the sight on the barrel The red dot is a trial, the Webley Tru-glo sight covered to much of the target. I wonted something which I can use for Rat and Rabbit 10-20 yards (max!) without the need to focus and without magnification. If all goes well I will look at a better quality red/green/multi reticle sight. or replacement iron sights. Its a sweet gun and groups at 35mm @ 25mts with my so far learnt springer shooting skills. Hopefully I can get this down to 25/30mm groups @ 25 yards 2 Quote Link to post
