Blackbriar 8,569
has it crossed your mind that not everybody is the fantastic driver that you are.first lesson of the road assume everybody is stupid On my very first driving lesson, my instructor told me that, and it's stuck with me ever since - "assume everyone else is an idiot"..........number of years driving - nearly 30, number of accidents - nil ! Must be good advice........

But a car is 12 feet long with windows all around it they not a long vehicle why do they need help They don't.....its just a courtesy thing from lorry drivers in particular. Hydropotesinermis 724
It doesn't annoy me, I was just confused as to why lorry drivers do it. I can understand fo other lorry drivers but like you say. For my Ford Mondeo its not as crucial. I thought i might have been missing something. I know I took the piss but I do have a lot of respect for Hauliers. Its a job I couldn't do.

Donna Wildwood 288
I don't drive, I walk or cycle. Cross country when possible. However I do have one major complaint.... At night drivers that don't dip their lights for people walking/cycling. where there are no paths I have no choice but to use the road, I wear high viz so you can see me, but I kind of need my retinas intact if I am to be able to get out of your way!
