mackem 26,414
rekon if Europe had a vote today muslims would be shown the door not blacks not Indians nor Chinese or romamainians just muslims is that racist ? Freedom of speech, the bedrock of our democracy, its not racism at all, racism is when its abused by the likes of the thankfully defunkt Islam for UK with their union jack burning, kill brit troops tirades. ChrisJones 7,975
so in theory were not racist for not wanting a certain religious sect in Europe we just don't like through personal choice based on an educated upbringing a valid reason for disliking a barbaric backward dark age primitive violent religion the same that desert backward bred drops on the floor 5 times a day to worship ? well that's clarified his bigoted racist attacks on certain members lol Personally I don't want any religious sect in Europe. But that's another thread. As a believer of free speech, though, I believe that you're just as entitled to vocalise your opinions as anyone else. If you wish to pray a certain way, a certain direction, even use it as a justification to eat/avoid certain foods, I couldn't really care less. Unless your belief system impedes on my also protected rights, and opinions. Race is an entirely different issue. If people want certain skin colours banished from Europe, their opinion is protected by the EU. If they take actions to secure such banishment, it is not. Separating the ideology, from the practitioner is where a lot of people have trouble. Those burning flags have every right to do so, same as others who have the right to fly them. Freedom of speech, the bedrock of our democracy, its not racism at all, racism is when its abused by the likes of the thankfully defunkt Islam for UK with their union jack burning, kill brit troops tirades. Let them do it. Give them as much coverage as we can. Show them for the hate groups that they are. If people genuinely wish to see this eradicated they'll give themselves the rope, so to speak. Show the nation what these minorities stand for and they will remain minorities. The whole process is to goad people into doing stupid things. When people react stupidly it empowers them and their supporters. Britain is still a collection of free countries. Nobody forceably requires anyone to do anything. The panic-mongering that suggests we're going to be living in an Islamic state is complete nonsense. You're being played.
WILF 46,800
You are delusional ........ I think you might have a touch of PTSD if you seriously think you'd be taking your life in your hands walking through Tower Hamlets or Bury Park on a Saturday night. Like I said I'm speaking from experience, are you? Tower Hamlets is a toilet, same as New Cross, Brixton, Houndslow, ladbrooke Grove, Ealing and Wembley so don't be daft and pretend it's some kind of multi cultural nirvana. They are all cess pits of the highest order made worse by a population why don't care about us, themselves or the place they live.......they live either as they do in their country of origin or with a total disregard of decency. Why don't you send your old grand pa for a walk round the North Peckham estate after he collects his pension money, see if he still feels the same about "the darkies next door" Even the post men walk round 6 handed on giro day !!.....fact!!, not left wing butterflies and flowers fiction my friend. Maybe you could tell him (when he is off life support) about how it wasn't their fault, it was just racist old whitey Brits making them feel bad and not giving them a chance in life
mushroom 12,921
They're defunkt but it will not end there mackem mate and you know it Every country I have visited has an issue with islam, every one! It's piss poor but its a fact.
WILF 46,800
Chris my friend, you know I have great respect for what you write because it's always level headed and genuine. I have to ask you the question though mate, is it racist to say that where you live 85% of the prison population comes from 13% of the total population......and I am not talking about middle class Bible Belt types ? Maybe those figures are flawed as I only looked them up, but if true, then don't you think we have a little bit of a right to generalise and say "what's wrong with these people?" ??

That is incorrect I am afraid mate, we are forcibly and by law not allowed to give voice to an opinion that SOMEONE else deems offensive to a person they may never have met. Now that opinion may be abhorrent to a vast majority but they should still be allowed to voice it IMHO as you are able to do in the United States mate. We could sit there and say "What's Wrong With These People." but wouldn't it also help to see what else factors into the equation? It could be what's wrong. But what if there are other factors at play that we're not considering? Shouldn't we know the full extent of the problem before we create a solution based on incomplete/possibly flawed information?

BGD 6,436
That's so precious I call bollocks! I grew up in a very islamified town, school ad infinitum. First racisim I ever experienced was against me by a schoolfriends father. Been jumped by a shitload of pakis and just about managed to get away. Been keyed in the chest by some little fuucker who was acting clever in front of his pyjama party (that prick got a pool cue snapped round his head and I got arrested, 12 years old!). I'm guessing you probably grew up with about 4 paki families instead of a town full BGD I'm genuinely sorry you experienced racism growing up, just because our experiences are different doesn't make either less valid or truthful. 4 Asian families? In Bury Park? It seemed like we were the only white family for miles.

Really so if I decided to go and burn the Paki flag and speak out against Islam on the city streets, my rights to freedom of speech would be upheld would they? More bollocks, you are living in a dream world mate.

Indeed we could mate and maybe I am being much too simple about things but I don't think it's too much to ask when someone chooses to live in a country to just fit in and attempt to carry on the same as the rest of the indigenous population, speak the language, behave in same way as the culture you have come to live amongst? These people want none of these things in large areas of Our cities.......it's there to see plain as the nose on your face and to add insult to injury laws are made to stop the Indiginous people saying anything about it.
