I have some kind of martin living in my roof I see it most nights when the dogs are locked up the little thing dose a shit outside the front door next to the dog bowls the other day it had cherry stone and a birds leg in I was calling foxes of the veranda about a week ago and it.come.straight into the yard looking around

They are a pest with cars here..........apparently its youngsters that do the damage, crawling in & chewing cables etc

You buy 'marten spray' to keep them away haha........of course I didn't know any of this until it cost me €200 in damage to my car haha.....

First pine martin I Ever saw was 25 years ago out in Ballyboggan dogs chased it went up a tree,I taught I had found a new species.

There's a good few mink about that area aswell not a bad trout river either fly?

Great at the back of the Protestant Church in Rahan,Biggest I ever caught was 3 1/2 lb on worm early on in the year you would be sure of a couple 1lb or little over every time ye go to fish,and some times 2 plus, they just love the minnow.May onwards great for fly fishing a lot of flys going down the river.But if you want really big fish ye have to go west.And always see a mink they would rob ur food.
