I always think a can looks a bit quick and cheap to the customer though....I like to take my time with ppe and setting my kit up. I like to keep prices up and going through a professional routine helps :-)

I agree, often takes me longer to put on the PPE than do the job. Got to make the job last at least 10 min for the £45- £50 fee

As a rule,..pest control applications are not exactly rocket science,...it is customer relations and one's personality and behaviour towards the customer, that helps to preserve longevity in the business...

Very true Phil, you need the ability talk to the customer at a profesional level , and at the time you state, otherwise it wont matter how wonderful you are at the task, you will not be recommended to others

I seem to spend longer explaining ,in my pseudo-expert persona, about the life cycle of the little Jaspers than I do on the actual slaughter. By the time I've described how all those returning foragers will hang round the nest ,desperate to go inside because "They are wedded to the only home they'll ever know and their lives revolve around it",and how once they get too close the powder will get em...well some customers are close to tears.

Usually the wife comes out with a cup of tea and tells her hubby to pull himself together though.
