valleyboy-wales 0
Having just taken possession of a new .17 Hornet rifle, I intend to reload the ammunition. I've managed to get a set of dies and some bullets (20gr Vmax) but not too sure what powder to use. I have a tub of Lilgun which is used for my .22 Hornet, but reading up on the .17 Hornet, it seems that Lilgun may not be the best for it. Suggestions are Viht N120 or H110. Does anyone reload this calibre, and if so, what do they use? I don't want to spend money on a tub of powder and find that it's not that suitable. Steve. Quote Link to post
Tremo 138
Have a look at the utility on the Hodgdons website mate. It allows you to select your calibre and then suggests the powders. Quote Link to post
