chris87 297
I love all hunting but there is something special about going out with a busher or two a lurcher or two and seeing what pops up! I find it very exciting you never know whats going to pop out of the cover. Anyway was just thinking back and only for people pressing for the section we wouldnt have it now. Thankfully we do because its seems to be doing very well now lots going on in that section. Mabey even more than other sections? 2 Quote Link to post

squab 2,875
Great to see the different types lads use for the ground they work and pick up a lot of info from those in the know, makes a walk out with the lurcher all together a different ball game, wouldn't see half the game I do now so wouldn't be without one,or two maybe lol Quote Link to post

squab 2,875
aye great idea. Keep all the jacking terriers in Same place plenty purpose bred bushers doing the job as oposed to failed earth dogs being used eh yeah mate, I like some of them, some of them I don't, like everything in life, and tbh I was only joking, I don't mind a bushing terrier as long it drops in should it come across an occupied fox den or chases one to ground out coverfair enough for you maybe dropping in would be a feck in nightmare for me,I want pushed out to the lurcher and keep moving type cheers Quote Link to post
chris87 297
Im the same katchum my littlr bitch started on fox recently and shel put one out of cover and drive him home. Its really added a whole new edge to my days bushing. I love it just got to bring bar and spade everywhere now, but its well worth it for me!! Quote Link to post
squab 2,875
Couple of obvious points for me,don't have any permission just go where I like be no good me worrying about collaring up a busher and carrying spade, got a young lurcher on the go that picks up a few bunnies and what not but digging I'd really be asking for trouble although it's not for me anyways,as said we all want different things from our dogs cheers Quote Link to post
corkboy 1
like nothing better than blowing a fox out of cover or to ground! but back isn't great now for digging we need some younger bodies withus. Quote Link to post
