skycat 6,174 Posted June 15, 2015 Report Share Posted June 15, 2015 There is something called Collie Nose, which is a type of immune system failure: may well not be, but it is more common than people think, and isn't just confined to Collies. It doesn't necessarily cause massive problems, but can make a dog's nose more likely to sunburn, which is why it is more noticeable in summer.
