Never Seen So Many Ferret Kits For Sale

Recommended Posts

The trouble is mate a lot of people think by it's a get rich quick idea to breed loads of Kitts they don't need just to make money. Which as any responsible keeper will know you will never get rich kitt peddling Kitts.

I only breed for myself and close friends and if there is a couple left over I give them to people I think and hope will look after them.

If you don't need any Kitts why breed ?? There are other ways of taking Jill's out of season without the country being flooded with unwanted Kitts that some will end up in with a life of misery. We see it year after year. Most keepers are responsible but unfortunately to some people small amounts of money mean more than the Kitts welfare.

SORRY rant over it just annoys me some people never learn or CARE.

I think its all down to the LAZY society we have now A youngsters got a hob and jill for working the jill comes into season its easier to breed the jill who will then rear the litter till six weeks with out any help if they choose . rather than getting the jill jab, implants or a hob snipped . there then punting the kits at six weeks far too young in my opion there hardly ready and are no eating right but look cute and are less likely to bite a new owner

if ya want a lovely angora its £250

payed £5 for my albino £20 for my silver and £25 from a pet shop for my sandy kits last year

Absolutely puddled if they buy a ferret at that price.(250). Madness.

Having a price gives a value, but best to breed for yourself, and pass on to mates, or folk in the know.

Aye thought there might be a change this year folk are moaning there's no rabbits so are giving up or no breeding but seems some folk still think it will make them rich
