Poacherspocket 189
Just wondering is there anyone on here can advise me on a cheap insurance company for pickups. Im only 22 but been qoated 1000 which is still a bit expensive i think. That was on a price comparison site. Can anyone point me in the direction of a firm thats cheap which isnt on those sites. Didnt even realise you had to have special insurance for one as there a commercial vehicle. Thanks in advance.

Often adding an older driver with a clean record can help bring down your insurance...

Poacherspocket 189
Well annoyed is an understatement. When i said a i was qouted 1k it was actually for a ford ranger. Now i changed it to an l200 there wanting 1500 quid. Not paying that ever so back searching for a new dog bus. Probably end up in a van at this rate.
lurcherman 887 13,259
Better off with a estate of some some mate. Or a berlingo connect ect
zandy01 3,575
+1 for estate car... Van insurance is more expensive than car insurance, I had a berlingo 1.6 hdi, sold it and bought 308 SW 1.6 hdi and I more than halved the price of my insurance... Get a decent estate mate, preferably diesel, you'll get cheaper insurance and good mpg too
