day and night walker 235
All i do is mooch about for rabbits so anything above 15tts would imo be to big, my last terrier which was a plummer cross was just over that and she used to struggle in some of the tighter spots so much so that sometime's she was unable to enter not only that she was quite slow moving through some of the cover but she did catch now and then. This one i have now is just under 12tts and she is much more suitable. I suppose the ideal bushing dog should be fairly small but leggy at the same time if that make's sense. atb. Just wanted to ask foxpack do you still have the beagle/terrier x atb fella Edited June 13, 2015 by day and night walker 1 Quote Link to post

day and night walker 235
It's awful when you lose a dog, i was gutted for obvious reasons, but worse of all she was starting to get the hang of things and her last couple of months alive she had started to catch fairly regular. When i compare the one i have now to the last one i wouldn't call her the better dog all round just better in some situations same as the other one was i suppose, one thing i do like about this one is that she has no interest in deer, well not anymore she did for a while then all of a sudden began too ignore them completely which suits me fine. atb daywalker. I work a lot of tight dense cover, only the smallest bushers are able to work this ground and push the quarry into more desirable locations. 2 Quote Link to post
