Rat face 1,655
i would defo have one but the end of the day it's a jacker, one day it might stay 20 mins next week 10 and the next week after it might not even fancy working at all and just walk past an accompanied earth because its hart isnt a 100% in its job. just my opinion on the matter they are a handy tool i the right situation, but in the back of my mind i would be always doubting the dog because you cant trust a dog whats not a 100% committed to its work 1 Quote Link to post
morton 5,368
I could make use for one as a depth gauge to read earths What have never been dug before Could you trust anything from a terrier that lacks commitment and fortitude,it will always give a false account of anything it does. Zilverhaze 1,627
so what do you do if a youngster fails or somthing digs in just walk away and give best? i cant see how it can f**k a better dog up of what i have seen better dogs thrive in a situation were a youngster or lesser dog fail thats why ther ther the better dog cos they can do a job others have failed to do 2 Quote Link to post

I'm not saying I wouldn't try, but when there's been a fcuk up, I'm sometimes inclined to say fcuk it & want to move on........mind, that's easier said when it's not your own dogs & I was proved wrong a couple of time last season haha......
