Welsh_red 4,749
Their lucky they didn't fall into the trap of having Rio as manager and arry as sports director like the pair of them wanted. Nice to see a club going with their head and not their heart when it comes to managers. Bilic is chiselled from granite which is exactly what you need when the going gets tough

gnasher16 30,470
It was always going to be stick or twist for the owners.......and they have chosen to twist. Its vital to go into the new ground as a premiership club and Allardyce virtually guarenteed that......but nobody can be expected to watch that misery for too long ! Theres good and bad in Bilic and he was well liked here......hopefully its a risk that pays off.

gnasher16 30,470
All i hope is he,s given the money to buy his own players......he wont want all the 7 foot Africans Allardyce brought in so hopefully as fans we can stop looking up in the air and watch football played on the floor again as judging by his management career so far Bilic likes teams to play the right way.....which he did himself as a player to be fair.....its a risky appointment but a good one.

To me Gnasher fat sam the bolton man didn't have the heart. With bilic he does indeed Hes very passionate with the club he works for. Should be for the best.
