mjr88 50
Hi all As I'm quite a newbie to the PCP world, I have a question regarding my HW100s .177Basically, I have the gun zeroed at 35 yards, and the rifle is only used out in the field for bunny bashing. What I have noticed is that, when I arrive at my zeroing tree, 9/10 times the zero has slightly shifted. Not by much, say half inch or less to the left or right. The grouping of the pellets however stay pretty tight. I always aim at a one inch spinner 35 yards away, and won't start hunting until I am confident of hitting the spinner at least 4 out of 5 times.Could the slight loss in zero be due to the guns bottle being topped up after each use, or maybe the outside temperature. I have also removed my scope and reattached it while using a Torque driver for the correct tightness to the rail. The slight poi change stays the same.Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I obviously want to get the most out of this great gun,Regards,John Quote Link to post
Bunnyblatter 1,012
Does it settle down after a few shots after topping up. What do you top up to ? Is the barrel band tight as the barrel could move very slightly if not. Was it bang on when you last used it ? Does it seem to lose poi each time after getting it back to normal ? Is it clipping the mod ? There's loads of options to try and see what is going on Quote Link to post
