GruffaloGriff 1,858
If you are using Damascus and titanium it is worth taking your time and getting it right. That's a hefty looking piece of Damascus, where did you get it?
riohog 5,701
not telling you how to suck eggs but the total blade lenghth must notreach further than 3" for it to be uk legal carry
GruffaloGriff 1,858
............unless you are using it for work https://www.gov.uk/buying-carrying-knives .........although it depends on how the law is interpreted or rather how the court decides how to interpret it. trenchfoot 4,243
when measuring blade length, do yo measure the actual length of the cutting edge, or from tip to the choil, regardsless of where the edge finishes? there does appear to be some confusion with regards uk legal carry! riohog 5,701
yes im not sure but play safe blade /total lenghth right up to were it meets the handle including choil of say 5.7 mil

Because they are more interested in the why than the what. In this country they dont want anyone to carry knives full stop!
