It would be great to be a new viewer, 5 seasons of catch up. TOMO, Chris it's some good viewing but if you prefer reading you could read the books.

Though if you read the books you could feel let down because the show will reveal the ending, I think the books are great and don't mind being spoilt by the show.....the books are about the journey not the arrival.

They've deviated to much from the storyline in the books, a lot of things on the tv show never happened in the book, he hasn't finished the books yet so how can the show reveal the ending?

George RR Martin as told the producers the ending and all the main plot lines leading to that ending. The show as possibly 2 seasons left and book 6 isn't going to be released for at least another year, so unless he released the last 2 books in quick time tge show will wrap the story up first.

They still got a lot of stuff from a dance with dragons that ain't going to fit into this season mate, Few major plot lines missing that are quite important to the story, I reckon they'll spill over into season 6. . I read somewhere they were casting for a 'wild pirate' ready for the next season.. "What is dead may never die.." ;)

Off the top of my head there's 7 or 8 valyrian swords plus tyrion dagger and king Roberts War hammer is valyrian steel too.

Think most of the noble families have got one, aint they? :hmm: I know the Lannister's original one was lost somewhere along the line.

The three I can remember without looking up:

Dawn

Ice - the two new Lannister swords

Heartsbane? With Randyll Tarly?

Longclaw
