Rws Superdome

Recommended Posts

Hi Paul,(shooting mate  ) i seem to remember Si Pitterway from Vermin Hunters tv doing a review on the HW kt .177 and he recommended rws fields.

I shoot this rifle too and use AA Fields Diablo in .177 and .22 for all my hunting and target work down at the indoor ranges.

When i am zeroed at 34 yds(.177) i would(try to) condition myself to four practice shots on each corner target of the above target for bulls eye only and finish on bulls eye only on the large target after shooting 1,2,3,4,5 in the vertical and then finish between the sm and k in each corner.(14 shots)

Now you are set for hunting well.

Whats your aim points Mark at 20 when zeroing at 34 with the 100? Just out of interest... Thinking of going there myself. Currently I set @ 30 for all my rifles.

My old .22 Sporter HW100 circa 2008 used to love Superdomes. The HW100 .22 KS I bought new about 3-4 years back seems erratic with them. Odd for an HW100. But, it is super-accurate with the good ol' AA Fields. Only downside is that due to their high weight, some friends have said "" ooh, but I can see the pellet coming out!" in a disparaging way, maybe because they are rimfire shooters. I keep coming back to AA Fields in .22

I recently spent a small fortune on exploring all sorts of alternatives to my AA fields. Conclusion = I was right all along, AA fields were by far the best in all my guns. I was glad i did the testing, though also annoyed....My breech does not like superdomes....i have to really push the bolt...so def dont like the feel of them and they were not not great downrange
