man o kent 269
Calm down gents. If it's an active earth, that had Cubs outside not long beforehand, I can't see a major problem in letting his pup take a look once. We all have to learn as we go, it's not the end of the world 2 Quote Link to post

leethedog 3,071
well lee the whole point of taking a dog to an earth and letting him have a good sniff is to mark and let u know theres summit home, the reward comes in letting the terrier off to do its job, theres no harm in doing this with and older dog thats got seasons under its belt. doing this with a novice that dont know the game is going to teach it absolutely nothing. and probably more harm than good palthe only reason I did it was to see if he would of gone in coz I had doughts if he would but I was wrong so all it is now is a waiting game atb lee Edited June 1, 2015 by leethedog Quote Link to post

mango 343
Right Lee, get him booked in to the vets, get him castrated because you have ruined that pup, he'll never work now. and at 10mths he's just the right age to settle in to that pet home. 2 Quote Link to post
