morton 5,368
have any of you owned or own this cross I'm thinking of getting a pup to go with my collie whippet saluki grayhound jack Wanted pure saluki but wanting a smaller dog so second option was a whippet so why not look for a cross If anyone seen any available please let me know I'm Wakefield area but willing to travel Thanks I once owned two litter mate brothers,Whippet/Grey x Saluki, both stood at about 23",speed,agility and stamina to burn, mullered hares with a vengeance, their reluctance at re-call and retrieve tested my patience far to often, thus their exit, geez they had some wind. 1 Quote Link to post
mattybugeye 884
think we may of found the perfect dog its a rescue dog from down south almost 1 year old will be 500 mile round trip but if we pass the house check think will go for it lots of saluki in the cross and alot of feathering just what the misses wanted id say its 1st cross saluki gray stands very tall anyone rescued a lurcher before im in 2 minds as wanted to train from young pup but been told he retrieves to hand and good on lead but makes you wonder about its past dont want any bad habbits rubbing off jack after ive put so much work in to him to get him ready for working Quote Link to post
