yes I know, he is buying putange traps from clive (NP)

Don't know anything about that. I don't sell 'em

I've passed a few onto some people on here at cost, but I don't really want to get into that side of things because of the postage costs and the only shop that sells a reasonable quality trap at a reasonable price only has a few in stock at any one time. Exactly the same product in other local shops of the same chain are €2 more expensive  I keep buying a few pairs every time I pass as I use loads and I'm intending to drop thirty or so pairs off at my Brother-in-Law's when I come over in November so he can sell them on eBay and keep the money in payment for doing some work over here.

If moletrapper is over here I haven't seen him. I'll keep my eye out though as we are going touring for a week or so on Sunday. :boogy:

If they are the ones shown on the website; the ones you squeeze together using your hand to set them I wouldn't recommend them.

Right, got it now. This is the link: http://erichunter-tools.co.uk/piege-a-taupe-putanges-s203186.html

I'd be tempted to buy a few to start with and see how you go. There is a lot of crap on the market. Whenever I find a new type I buy a couple of pairs and try them out. The only ones I'd recommend of those I've tried are a brand called Lucifer. Some of the others have rusted before my eyes and become too weak to be effective after a few weeks of use. The best type I have ever found were taken off sale after I'd bought half a dozen pairs. That was almost twelve months ago and they are still totally rust free and stronger than the brand new traps. Problem is I can't find any more.

p.s. Don't forget that you usually need a pair. That price is for one trap.
