gnasher16 30,591
Roughly what time of year is it safe to assume Goldies or Canaries will stop breeding ?.......if all else is right will they still carry on into the warmer months or not ?
fireman 11,038
End of july into august to be honest i just let them carry on till they stop so never really noted when they do ,but if your pairs aren't doing much then move the nest pans about a bit, change the hights possition and change the nesting stuff to different places as well.Bit of a shake up can help things along and that's whats happening in some of my flights due to inactivity.

fireman 11,038
Bit of live food (mini meal worms) and what natural food is about, the dandilions are just finished but there's plenty of milk thistle and grasses starting to seed up so whats naturaly avalable mate really.I did all my stressing last year and this year i'm just going with the flow and it is a lot less stressfull but a nest or two from the favorites would be nice...............just for the change Just had a thought and they like a bit of Moss, the stuff found on trees etc, nothing flash but a bit of it stuffed in a few places will get them pecking at it in interest and it might trigger the building urge ,good luck mate ..
