stevo79 569 Posted May 27, 2015 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Leghorns don't tend to go broody. Rhode Island Red bantams are good little birds. Leghorns are cracking layers but I wouldn't recommend keeping them in a garden run unless they've got plenty of room as the really like ranging and scratching about. They tend not to do well cooped up. RIRs on the other hand will do well in smaller conditions just as long as it's not a shoe box. Atb?
