But like you say, predatory men are the main problem. i used to sneak out sometimes,lots of teenagers do. aside from turning your house int fort knox there isn't that much you can do to stop it is there? off topic,but my grandad was a sgt major and im told was very hard on his kids (and at times his grankids too) that didnt stop my uncle when he was 13 from stealing his car and driving half way across the country for the weekend with a load of his mates. the beatings he gave his kids would probably land you in jail these days,but it didnt stop him.
