moz85 15
Right guys I think I better explain myself here before I get a bad name which I don't want Bear with me here as I suffer from dyslexia and my spelling ant to good and I can't do punctuation to well and my wife is helping me with the spelling Right here we go iv been in to air rifles from a young age with my dad but sadly I lost him about 4 years ago now so in heartache I sold mine and his gun but about a year after that I met my wife and her dad is in to shooting and he is a FAC license holder after getting to no him and his boys I started going out with him on his permission lamping so I decided to get a new gun 1 of my friends who come out with me and my dad a few times had a logun s-16 mk1 and I liked it so when I was looking for my new gun I looked for a logun and got myself the s-26s it was second hand so I serviced it new seals and put it on the crono that I still had from [BANNED TEXT] with my dad and it pushed 11.8 ft lb and after bedding in its average was 11.6ft lb and still is well out on my father-in-law's permission he was shocked on how much I was putting down but I had never really talked about my history with air rifles and just seid it must be beginners luck well the farmer asked us if we could take care of the land in and around his barns and obviously we jumped at the chance for more land now up until this point I was underpowered for the land we was on but now in the barns my logun .22 at 11.6ft lb come into its own and my father-in-laws 22 rimfire was well over power for what we was doing so he went out and got a logun s-16evo with FAC kit that I told him he didn't need in and around the barns the SUB 12ft lb evo would do the job just as well if not better than the FAC Version but he insisted on it well he got it with new HW SW scope got it all set up and we headed out to the farm well after all that expense On his new gun and FAC kit and getting the slot for it put on his license he was very upset that I was still putting twice as much as him in the bag now we was both using the crosman 14.3gr as it works so well in my rifle so he asked me to give his rifle a go for a couple of shots to se if it was him as he has not used a air rifle for years so I took over and failed to put down 2 pigeons In a row well that wasn't like me so I set up a 40yard target as it was a FAC gun and checked the zero and it was spot on so I jumped back on my rifle and put 3 pigeons in the bag with 3 shots so he was a bit upset and wanted to go home so the nexted day I mixed up some ballistics gel and we took the guns to the farm well my logun at 40 yards was stopping in the gel but he's was over penetrating And his gun is running 23.4ft lb and mine is only 11.6ft lb well iv never had a FAC rifle so that is why I was asking about pellets for his rifle as I don't no the best to use on FAC I no he had to do pellet testing with it but having some sort of starting point always helps And sorry it took so long to get back to you guys about it but I was moving house the weekend so didn't have time to sit down and explain this mess lol And yes I was asking how to go about getting a FAC license as it has been years since my father-in-law got he's and you no how thay like to change the rules I'm not a rimfire man as I don't see the sport in it so I wanted to get a daystate 303 to sort out the lack of power I'm suffering form out on the rest of the permission Well I hope that clears things up thanks guys Regards Martin 1 Quote Link to post
