It was a f***ing disaster!Lol Twelve of us headed out, and after an hour, nine bodies were lying on the deck! It was an awful sight, people throwing up everywhere, everyone getting burnt alive with the sun! What a mess! And to make things worse, the three of us still standing, caught sweet f**k all apart from Sun stroke!? Apart from that, it was a great weekend!? 1 Quote Link to post

moxy 617 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2015 Well. I have to say it was a fecking disaster!! Shark!! Yeah!! Whatever! To be fair to the skipper the sea was shite and as choppy as I ever wish to see again. Fishing not being my thing and recovering from a big dose of the finest Irish hospitality. I wasn't well No puking but far from my idea of fun. The water was rough. Tried for all sorts with nothing but bait fish taking. So the further out we went. The rougher the water got. As a group we managed a few good sized ling and cod. But from what lads were catching the day after we went out, by far nothing to write home about. Moved back inshore to try the sandbanks and as it turned out..!! We fished to fill the skippers bait box for the coming weeks comp!! Not impressed. I did manage this... Quote Link to post
