Rebel 838
I remember that case well, fair play to those two men, only for them it would have been a very different story. Two boys from my neck of the woods were out shooting foxs, and found Larry Murphy trying to kill a woman, they got some fright. 1 Quote Link to post
mango 343
We were ferretting over Cirencester way on an estate .We'd informed the tenent farmer whos patch we were on so no probs we thought.Mid morning we heard hounds ,headed our way in the distance but too late .Foxey runs along the edge of the spinney we are in and both lurchers we had out were off .My little rabbiter and mates bullx.Straight over a nearby road and into a valley with me red faced and blowing hard trying to catch up lol.Rows of 4x4 s parked in the valkey and hounds now closing behind .Dick Lovett was their terriermen and he appeared in his beat up landrover to enquire if the lurchers were any good lol. They had him in the valley and hounds were held off by a pissed off huntsmen .Mate rolled up in a cadged ride and luckily knew all present him being ex job .That too ended well but could of been two dead dogs on the road . I thought Dick Lovett sold up market cars. Quote Link to post

day and night walker 237
I remember years ago at work whilst doing a flat roof on a side building of an old church i went to fetch something from the van when i noticed a hen pheasant bobbing about anyway guy i worked with always had a catty on him so i tell him and he comes down and we both go and look for this pheasant, we find it and dave draws back the elastic, now in all the exitement i didn't notice that we were in the vicars garden and i look up and notice a big pair of bay windows and behind them the vicar and his family are sitting round a table watching us i didn't know whether to say sorry or start singing all creatures great and small. 2 Quote Link to post
