Haven’t tried the Kania, but think I’ve already got a favourite trap for squirrels – safe, humane, piece-of-piss to set. Costs as much as half a dozen fenns, but I’m happy.

Kanias working well, even with safety cage, caught within 4 hours with another 2 in tunnels & fenns

I set three bodygrips in a loft the other night, as I was lay in bed I got a cold sweat pass over me....it just occurred to me out of no where.... I'd forgotten to take the bloody safety catches off

I have never seen the Kania trap over here but they look brilliant and lethal.

Think Wildlife Management Services in Portarlington Co Laoise supply them!

Their the only Irish outlet for The Magnum Trap Company!?

Got 5 in two days, I wish rats were as easy to catch as squirrels?

Aye, rats are a totally different animal....I know we all call squirrels 'tree rats' but they are dunces when compared to the brown rat.....I've spent a hell of a long time watching them on trail cams this springtime and i am amazed how clever/cunning the rat is....

Yes squirrels are dunces when it comes to "whats in the box" but equally very clever when it come to a mamouth assault course just to get a peanut as seen on tv/youtube

They should do one of those mammoth assault courses, but change it up a little with a few well placed Fenn's and Bodygrips along the course!?

Be interesting to see if the squirrel gets the peanut!?

Do you always use the cubby in it, never used the kania to pricey for me

I might be wrong, but I think that the Kania is illegal without a cubby/tunnel. This is to stop non-targets being killed, birds etc...
